MISSION STATEMENT
Providing impactful social protection interventions and facilitating opportunities for all persons to transform their lives and sustain their livelihoods. To accomplish this, eight (8) distinct units/departments have been established: Administration – Office of the Permanent Secretary, Community Development and Social Services, National Counselling Centre, Gender Affairs. New Horizons Rehabilitation Centre, Policy, Planning and Projects Unit, Probation and Child Protection Services.

The Department of Community Development & Social Services is located at the Antioch Baptist Church Building, Lime Kiln, Basseterre.
Counselling services for all age groups can be accessed at the National Counselling Centre, which is located at Wades Garden, Basseterre.
The location of the New Horizons Rehabilitation Centre is at Harrises, close to Saddler’s Village.
Ministerial Oversight is provided by the Honourable Mr. Geoffrey Hanley and the Honourable Ms. Isalean Phillip.
